1. Scheduling a chat
After you have contacted us, our admin team will arrange to schedule a chat with a support worker.
2. Exploring what supports you need
During your scheduled chat, a support worker will work with you to explore how we can help you in different aspects of your caring role and situation, and what supports and services you need.
3. Putting supports and services in place
Based on your caring situation and circumstances, a support worker will help put supports and services in place. The following supports and services may be considered:
Providing information and emotional support
Referrals to community services
Assistance in navigating the disability and mental health (NDIS), and aged care systems (My Aged Care)
4. Check-in
A support worker will contact you after a few months to check in and see how you’re going and whether your needs have changed.
Every caring situation is unique.
