The Carers’ Q & A group is designed to be a place for carers to come together to talk about caring. It is a place where you can:
Ask questions
Learn from the experiences of other carers
Share your experiences
Talk about information related to your caring role
Connect with other carers
Find your way through the maze of carer related services and resources such as; the Carers Card, the Companion Card, Carer Gateway, Aged Care, Disability Services, NDIS & Centrelink (just to name a few)
If you don’t know what you want (or need) to ask and you just want to join a supportive group of carers where the conversation will by led by the carers in the group, then this is the group for you.
The sessions will be facilitated by a member of the Alfred Health Carer Services team who will also be there to help answer questions.
The group meets every second Wednesday.
