Carers’ Q & A - September: Session 1

The Carers’ Q & A group is designed to be a place for carers to come together to talk about caring. It is a place where you can:

  • Ask questions

  • Learn from the experiences of other carers

  • Share your experiences

  • Talk about information related to your caring role

  • Connect with other carers

  • Find your way through the maze of carer related services and resources such as; the Carers Card, the Companion Card, Carer Gateway, Aged Care, Disability Services, NDIS & Centrelink (just to name a few)

If you don’t know what you want (or need) to ask and you just want to join a supportive group of carers where the conversation will by led by the carers in the group, then this is the group for you.

The sessions will be facilitated by a member of the Alfred Health Carer Services team who will also be there to help answer questions.

The group meets every second Wednesday.

  • Wed, 4th & 18th of September

  • Wed, 2nd, 16th & 30th of October

Time: 11:00am - 12:00pm
