Crafternoons take place once a month, on the third Tuesday of the month.
Explore your creative side, share your talents and bond over your love for arts and crafts.
No experience is necessary. All planned activities are beginner-friendly.
The project for the February/March sessions is: How to make a Junk Journal
Junk Journals are made through found and recycled materials as a way to collect and record memories, thoughts, ideas, and inspiration.
They are creative, individual, often messy and a lot of fun to make!
These two sessions will be hosted by carer and Junk Journal expert Sharon Brookes.
To participate you will need to:
collect ‘junk’ to use for your journal such as; magazine cut outs, tickets, old greeting cards, etc before the first session.
A Glue Stick, Scissors, pencils, and paper or a notebook to stick the junk to.
be able to participate in both sessions.
We will send you more detailed instructions on what you need before the session.
